Kristina’s passion is creating and sharing playful, user-friendly tools that generate resilience. After graduating from Antioch College in 1971, she vowed to skip grad school and relish the school of life. In her 20’s, she co-managed a ceramics studio, grew an organic garden, became a feminist circle leader, came out bi-queer, co-taught a university class on Women and Spirituality, and joined the Findhorn Community. In her 30’s, her bestselling Self-Healing Cookbook: Whole Foods for Body, Mind & Moods sparked a movement to think global, eat local. Her 40’s opened her heart to the intersecting impacts of deep loss, joy and trauma, as she settled into the welcome arms and renewing green of her Pacific Northwest island home. In her 50’s she became a certified practitioner of NLP, Guided Self-Healing, BodyTalk and Paradox Management, then served on the founding board of Woman’s Way Red Lodge and co-created life-passage celebrations for women of wisdom. Now a Big Leap Coach, Kristina sees race, age, gender, sexuality, spirituality, class, ancestry, ability, innate genius and willingness to play as doorways into expressing our full aliveness and reclaiming our wholeness together.
